70% of the job • Perform data mining and manipulation in SQL and other tools to select insurance ‘hot lead' based on monthly request. • Track and evaluate campaign success rate and make recommendation based on exploratory data analysis. • Develop statistical models, such as decision tree and logistic regression, to improve ‘hot lead' selection criteria 30% of the job • Develop tracking and ad-hoc reports to enhance the understanding of retail customers • Perform descriptive and predictive model on transactional data
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in mathematics/statistics/engineering/other quantitative field • Master degree in business administration or quantitative field • 0-2 or more years of predictive modeling/data mining experience required • Experience in the application of modern statistical design and predictive modeling/data mining techniques on large data sets is a plus • Proven track record in making data mining/analysis actionable to improve business outcomes is a plus • Knowledge of SPSS required. SQL a plus • Experience with development and deployment of models in transactional databases a plus
