PANAMA CITY (AP) A search for two female Dutch tourists who went missing in Panama almost two months ago is resuming.
A team of 12 sniffer dogs brought over from the Netherlands will assist in what Panamanian authorities insist remains a search and rescue mission.
Twenty-two-year-old Lisanne Froon and 21-year-old Kris Kremers were last seen March 31 before starting on a hike in a highlands Boquete area popular with foreign tourists and American retirees.
A Panamanian-led search involving helicopters was called off in mid-April after authorities were unable to find any leads.
