the thermal stability of the composite network
correlates with the highest peak temperature obtained
from the relaxation spectra, so that a higher peak temperature
reflects better thermal stability of the material.
The relationship between peak temperatures (peaks b
and c) and type of nanocomposite is shown in Fig. 12. It
can be seen that the peak temperatures of peak b and c
increase with addition of the organoclay. Also, the thermal
stability effects might be due to variations in the
crosslinking density and the dispersion of organoclay in
the rubber matrix
