According to a study at The Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian and Columbia University Medical Center; kids who watch horror movies from a young age are highly likely to develop anxiety, sleep disorders, and aggressive and self-endangering behaviors. The study followed 76 New York City mothers with a history of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), finding that they watched more violent movies than their healthy counterparts.
This means you probably shouldn’t take your kids to see The Conjuring or The Lords Of Salem anytime soon. Even if you think our favorite killer doll Chucky is adorable; Curse Of Chucky will probably scar your kid for life.
