A common myth is that using a remanufactured toner cartridge will void a printer’s warranty. This is simply not the case. In fact, the U.S. has a federal law in place, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, that ensures that a printer’s warranty cannot be voided by using aftermarket toner cartridges. Moreover, if a toner cartridge is truly remanufactured, its performance should be indistinguishable from an OEM cartridge.
