When grown in control soils, the chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, and total chlorophyll contents of sweet corn leaves were about 13.4-16.1.1, 14.2-15.2, and 29.4-31.2 mg ml. respectively, for all treatments on days 60. However, when grown for 60 days in endosulfan sulfate-spiked soil, the chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, and total chlorophyll contents of sweet corn leaves decreased to about 9.1-9.2, 5.1-5.2, and 14.8 mg ml. respectively.
