necessary to carry a specialized research on the physical properties of
solid fuel briquettes made from C. korshinskii Kom. The design of experiment
of most researches adopted univariate analysis; the combined
influence of factors and their interaction terms on the physical properties
of solid fuel has been seldomundertaken. These facts are themainmotivators
behind this investigation. The aims of the study are to analyze
the usability of C. korshinskii Kom as a densified, ecological solid fuel
(briquette) and to experimentally verify the influence of material moisture
content, particle size and the effect of the main process parameters
(pressure and temperature) on the mechanical properties (density,
durability, compressive strength and impact resistance) of briquettes
produced from C. korshinskii Kom. The research will provide the technological
processes for the pretreatment and densification of solid fuel
made from C. korshinskii Kom.
