With regards to the correlations among body image, SQOL, depression and quality of life, the result of this study is consistent with that of Kim and Choi's study [3] which confirmed that if a middle-aged woman had a positive body image, her quality of life improved. The result of this study is also in concordance with the result of Choi's study [12] which found that the lower the degree of depression in a middle-aged adult, the higher the quality of life they would have.
