At the beginning, we decided to select AGR product, because we believe in your worldwide company credit and AGR has office in Thailand that is close to Laos (Olympus just has sales agent-as we known). Just before issuing our PO, the question from our QC is what is the calibration services/after sales from AGR, especially after one year purchase calibration will be expired (we are implementing ISO 9001 and GMP&HACCP). So far, I contacted with AGR for only the quotation/purchase issues with related info on quotation. Sawanya sent email on informing the Tech would contact us for the calibration/after sales service issues last Thursday and we waited until Monday morning. We spent a lot of time for procurement of this device, so we don’t want to wait any more. So we made final decision by sending PO to Olympus.
Olympus, sales Agent in Thailand often called and email to follow up with us, talking about the free training at our site without cost (with customer visit yearly), they will visit if has any problems with product including the calibration request, etc. therefore, this is the answer for the above question (and we expect they would continue to do the same after we purchase their product). It is about 15% more expensive than your product, but the price is not the most important criteria. We changed mind at the final decision. We sent PO to Olympus Thai Agent on Monday and device is expected to arrive us within this week.
