Walls: No Defects/Safety Hazards found.
External Cladding (Hardiplank Sidings): Defects/Safety Hazards found were: Moderate chipping was noted to the joints. Please note that the hardiplank sidings should not be repaired or replaced without an expert advice as they may contain asbestos.
Some of the walls’ timber mouldings have wood decay damage and replacement is needed.
Lintels: Not visible to inspection.
Doors: Defects/Safety Hazards found were: The front security screen tends to jam up and repair or replacing is needed.
Windows: Defects/Safety Hazards found were: The rotting timber sill to rear laundry window should be replaced.
Timber and Steel Structures (Rear Patio Awning): No Defects/Safety Hazards found.
Rear Verandah or Timber Deck: No Defects/Safety Hazards found.
Stairs: No Defects/Safety Hazards found.
Balustrades: No Defects/Safety Hazards found.
Patios (Front Deck/ Porch): No Defects/Safety Hazards found.
Chimneys: The brick chimney flue appeared to have been out of service for a period of time. We recommend inspection by a specialist for peace of mind before purchase.
External Laundry with Toilet: Defects/Safety Hazards found were: The timber frame wall is in direct contact with the pavement or ground. This form of construction is much more prone to wood decay damage and termite attack. Refer to Timber Pest Inspection Report.
