Mignolet came in for some harsh stick from Sky pundit Gary Neville following Phil Jagielka’s late piledriver in the Merseyside derby at Anfield last season.
Neville has since discovered that life in the dugout is harder than in the TV studio with his Valencia team thrashed 7-0 by Barcelona this week.
Mignolet is too professional to grasp the chance to stick the boot in.
“It’s not my business what happens with him in Spain at the moment,” he said.
“I don’t know what it is like to be a manager. I’ll keep my head down. I just have to focus on my job beginning with Sunderland on Saturday. We've still got a lot to play for.”
