(Y/N) lost her breath as she found herself tackled to the ground.
Tara.
She was embarrassed that she had almost forgotten about her eccentric roommate.
"I WAS SO WORRIED! I heard what happened!!"
"Uh - yeah." (Y/N) laughed nervously. "Right."
"You're like, super famous now! Did you know that? Everyone's been talking about how you saved them all!"
"I didn't really..." (Y/N) trailed off, but Tara wouldn't have it.
"No need to be so modest, you're a hero!"
"I'm not really a hero..."
"Pfft. Tell that to all of the people you've rescued! We decided to throw a party in your honor! With permission of the principal of course, who was surprisingly cooperative for being such a cranky old man. I didn't think he'd actually like the idea - but apparently they were already planning a celebratory party by suggestion of Bruce Wayne. Can you believe it? BRUCE WAYNE!"
"Bruce Wayne?" (Y/N) choked.
She really didn't deserve the attention everyone was giving her - and besides that she didn't want any of the attention everyone was giving her. To have found out that Bruce Wayne HIMSELF had his attention caught just made her dread the idea of leaving her dorm room even more. Before she would know it... the paparazzi would show up... and then her life would probably be complete chaos.
"It's a great way to graduate though! I heard you were on your last year here - so - I thought about it and a party would also be a great way to send the graduates off with good memories!" Tara said excitedly. She seemed more happy about throwing a party for (Y/N) than (Y/N) herself.
"This really is too much..." (Y/N) sighed.
