here is no true official for either actually. Rudeu Keurisi isn't official either. BAP (The first group to ever scan BH) most likely used an online translated version, and if not, they went straight off by sound, but the names stuck. Some groups use the pronunciation version or sound version while other groups use a very vague and iffy Google translate version or some other unofficial and very 'off the mark' translation.
Unless my memory is hazy, for as long as I can remember, Yong has written the names in Korean. It's why even the Korean fans vary with their spelling of the names in English, ranging from Rude, Rood, Lude, Ludeu, etc. Blow has been spelled in many ways too. I prefer to go with the pronunciation version while keeping the Hangul true. This is also why you see different versions with different translators, unless the name is stuck, like the Rood/Blow spelling, because fans are used to it. When WR translated Lidusis, they used Rithesis on the first chapter they translated. Rithesis is not the pronunciation version, but the sound version. They soon changed to the Lidusis spelling after complaints though.
You can't truly translate things properly from one language to another, it's why I ask my friend to shove in as many notes as she can so I won't miss a thing.
