This story comes to memory on every hot summer day. In 1905 San Francisco on a cold winter night, 11-year old Frank Epperson left a glass of flavored soda on his front porch with a stirring stick in it. The next morning he found it completely frozen, and as he pulled the stick, the frozen drink came with it. A few years later, he patented these unintentionally created beauties as “Epsicle Ice Pops” which his children later renamed as popsicles
