presents desorption behavior of five VOCs (acetone, n-hexane, methanol, toluene, and n-decane) from activated carbon in scCO2 at 313 K and 15.0 MPa. The VOC dependence of the desorption behavior at the other conditions are summarized in Figs. S2–S4 in the Supplementary data. These results indicate that the desorption behavior strongly depended on the VOC species probably because of the affinity for the adsorbent and the volatility of VOC species. Table 3 shows the values of adsorption energy (Ei) of each VOC determined for the same activated carbon by using the Dubinin–Astakhov equation [20] with our adsorption equilibrium data [21].
