Ethically conducting research requires researchers to actively interpret these principles for their research. Additionally, ethics should be primary consideration rather than an afterthought. Research should reflect on ethical issues throughout the research process, from defining the problem to advancing research questions to collecting and analyzing data to writing the final report. Ethics should, at all times, be at the forefront of the researcher's agenda (Hesse-Bieber&Leavy, 2006)
