This charming guesthouse is owned by a sweet and hospitable middle aged couple but managed by their undergraduate son. Since all of them live in the guesthouse too, throughout our stay we felt very much at home and our needs were attended to 24/7. The location and accessibility of this guesthouse couldn't be any better. The airport bus from/to Incheon/Gimpo Aiport (Bus 6015/Bus 6010) stops just right across the guesthouse and Myeongdong Subway (Exit 3) is less than a min walk from the guesthouse. Tourist spots such as Myeongdong shopping distric, N Seoul Tower, Namdaemun market are just a stone's throw away. Amidst all these tourist and local hot spots, the guesthouse is tucked away in a very quiet surroundings with many korean restaurants and convenience stores around it. The owner set us up with a bigger room than what we booked for which we were very grateful for. The room was very comfy, clean, well-equipped and had a view of N Seoul Tower! The amenities in the common area are more than satisfactory and has all you need. The Continental style buffet breakfast was very complete. Breakfast typically starts at 0630 but knowing that we had to check out before 0600 to catch the airport bus to Gimpo airport, the owner prepared the buffet breakfast earlier than usual and he even made us a very hearty breakfast on our last day at the guesthouse. What melt our hearts was he insisted to walk us to the bus stop carrying our luggage. The highlight of the guesthouse is the roof top veranda. From there it has the unobstructed and the most amazing view of N Seoul Tower especially in the evenings. There is no other more perfect place than this to enjoy some quality time with your loved one. We are not much of a city traveler but it is guesthouses like Tomato Guesthouse that makes us want to return to this lively and soulful city again.
