Conclusions and practical implications
Organizations must develop systems and practices that promote thetype of talent that is increasingly demanded. This developmrnt requires analyses of the existing supply and demand of talent in an organization. The three dimensions of talent that are proposed in this paper could provide some direction regarding such analysesof trining and development needs. Humanresource departments have an important task as strategic partners in finding, managing, and developing talent and in ensuring that individual and organization objectives are alugned.
