Fig. 1b shows the pore size distribution calculated by BJH
method for ACb. The pore distribution is defined as heterogeneity
degree of porous materials and is directly related to the adsorption
equilibrium and kinetic properties of ACs [37]. For the ACb (Fig. 1b)
it can be seen that the greatest amount of pores are distributed in the region of 15–25 A˚ , which is in agreement with the observed
average pore diameter
