LeBron goes “All In” for Cleveland Indians
LeBron James is in full support for the Cleveland Indians as they host Boston Red Sox
Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is going all out, or shall we say ``All In’’ in reference to the NBA champions’ motto, for the Cleveland Indians.
James on Thursday said he is rooting all the way for the Indians, who host the Boston Red Sox in the American League Division Series starting Friday.
He said he won’t be making it to the opener due to a previous commitment but assured every Cleveland fans he will be in Game 2 at Progressive Field on Saturday.
“I can't make it (for Game 1). My wife (Savannah) got an event tomorrow that I gotta be there for but I plan on going for Game 2,” James said.
James, who ended the Cavaliers’ 52-year championship drought in June, has been sending words of encouragement on social media to the Indians
In a posted a message to the Indians on Instagram, James wrote: “Light it up tonight, boys!! Tribe has us feeling some type of way in October.”
James, a three-time NBA champion, grew up cheering for the New York Yankees. He got heavy criticism in 2007 for wearing their cap to a playoff game in Cleveland.
But he is now 100 percent behind the Indians and was at their game last August 20, when they came from behind and won on a game-ending, inside-the-park homer.
