Another Awkward problem is that of determining the boundary between political, economic and other aspects of human activity. All types of hunan behaviour are, to some extent, interrelated. Voting may be deemed to be a political activity, whereas playing golf is not usually played in this category, until, perhaps, representation is made by the golfers to the local authorities to secure better golfing facilities. Trade union membership, television viewing and newspaper reading are other examples of activities which may, at times, be political. Viewed in this way, it should begin to become clear that the domain of politics may encompass an enormous range of human activity, beyond the institutions of the state such as legislatures, executives, bureaucracies and courts.
