Conclusion
This study demonstrated the positive effects of CWI on the
restoration of cardiac autonomic modulation, implying that CWI
applied for 15 min at 14 ◦C is the most effective dosage for this purpose.
It is worth noting that the period of 60 min post-exercise was
sufficient to restore the values of the indices to pre-exercise conditions
in physically active subjects, regardless of the technique
applied.
