• 500 grams beef (this is how much beef I grilled in total, but this amount of beef made 2 plates – below)
• 1 tbsp ground black peppercorns
• 1.5 tbsp light soy sauce
• 250 grams of grilled sliced beef
• 1 tbsp khao khua (toasted sticky rice powder, check out the recipe here)
• 2 tbsp fish sauce
• pinch of sugar (optional)
• 1 – 2 tbsp chili flakes (I like to grind my own Thai dry chilies)
• 1.5 tbsp lime juice
• 5 small shallots
• 1 green onion
• small handful of cilantro
• handful mint leaves to garnish
