This research makes several contributions to research and practice, as indicated in Table 6. First, we apply the the oretica dimensions of the MUG to a new context, namely, museum websites. This research thus contributes to the generalizability of
the MUG, as encouraged by Agarwal and Venkatesh, and provides insight into a new domain. Indeed, most research on
website usability has focused on business websites, while specific domains in the cultural heritage sector have only been superficially addressed.
