At 290 nm, the relationship was of a parabolic nature, which would indicate some manner of deviation from
Beer's law. However the more linear relationship at 255 nm is inconsistent with the previous data, which indicates
that the results of this phase were probably flawed. The possibility exists for a substance to exhibit either a linear or
parabolic relationship of absorbtion with respect to concentration, but not both types of relationship. It is likely that the
error inherent in measuring such small quantities of sunscreen was too great to provide useful and accurate results.
