As our Global Framework Agreement
with UNI Global Union clearly states,
we as a company and our colleagues
are jointly responsible for complying
with the International Labour
Organization’s (ILO) Declaration on
Fundamental Principles and Rights
at Work. This includes our commitment
to freedom of association and
collective bargaining across all of
our operations. Employees are also
represented at the board level. Besides
various engagements on the local
level, our global Employee Relations
Manager holds regular meetings
with representatives of the European
Works Council (EWC) that comprises
employee representatives from some
of our most important sales countries
including Germany, UK, France
and Sweden. Currently, 53% of our
colleagues are covered by collective
bargaining agreements (2013: 56%).
