The PR2 ratio levels of agro-food sector performance across the EU countries were in the range from 0.35 (Portugal) to
1.11 (the UK) whereas its median value accounted for 0.66. The fact, that for each country (apart from the UK) the
share in total GVA is lower than the share in total employment means that labor employed in the agro-food sectors
generate less value added than in other sectors of the EU national economies.
