Good night Yuva.
May did tell me about the couple she wanted to to introduce Meaw and Craig to. They are a young
christian couple. May is trying to introduce Meaw and Craig to couples more in their age group. I
think May is worried Meaw needs to be around people her own age as well as all of us old folks. Since
I do not know the couple, I can't say anything one way or the other. I do agree, it can't hurt for Meaw
and Craig to meet more people.
I am being careful about over doing anything while I am trying to recover. Shoveling snow in the cold
not too bad. Frustration over work calling me yesterday about things outside my control became a bit
of an issue. I actually appreciated going out and shoveling snow to calm down and not be so upset over
the jump through hoops on a weekend because some jerk sitting at home who has no concept of what he
demanding is making demands.
It appears The Royal Navy is looking into acquiring submarines. I guess it is understandable since everyone
around Thailand has a submarine force. It'll become a matter of who they get them from, and how much they
are going to cost. Not to mention all the training for operational and maintenance matters. On a more Thai
related subject, the Police are going to be cracking down on flying lantern releases prior to 9:00 PM in the
evenings. Apparently, one landed on a jet engine and other flights have been diverted and or cancelled due to
the lanterns. Since I do not know much about them, other than they are a potential air hazard for aircraft, I
would say it is understandable. After all, one fair size bird inhaled into the air inlet of a jet engine can cause
a jet to go down. While it does not happen often, it has happened. So the concern is warranted. I just have
no idea on how the law can be enforced!
Pleasant dreams and sleep well. I think about you all the time.
Hugs & Kisses
Randy
