General Safety Information
Valley City State University's General Safety Rules are considered minimum safety standards for usual work conditions and will be adhered to by all employees who enter a specific job location.
Please familiarize yourself with this general safety information. If you have questions, talk to your Supervisor or the Safety Office.
VCSU is committed to providing a safe and healthy learning environment for its employees. However, it is your individual responsibility to:
conduct yourself in a safe and proper manner;
comply with all safety rules and requirements;
report every university-related injury or illnesses to the Safety Office, your supervisor or campus health services,
wear protective equipment if required for certain job tasks;
participate in employee orientation; and
participate in continuing education which is conducted on a departmental level.
