3. Conclusion
As it has been indicated above, the writing of abstracts in English is not easy because it requires not only a good
level of proficiency of a foreign language but also being able to think in a foreign language and structure the main
ideas clearly and logically. Therefore, foreign language teacher must take it in consideration and choose such
strategies which would best chronologically and effectively lead a learner through the whole process of the writing
an abstract in a foreign language, in this case English. Then such teaching and learning can be a challenge for both
the teacher and student.
