When you are practicing tough management, you are sharing and
receiving information, communicating well, focusing on resultsand hard decisions, and by being flexible, being very open to learning new things. And if you happen to be looking for a new job in
the future, you will have the top characteristic that an overwhelming majority (87 percent) of executives and managers would
be looking for in new hires in the future. Only about half of executives and managers say that the majority of executives, managers,
and employees in their organization today are willing to learn,
though three-fourths say their current staff is knowledgeable about
the business.
