These results are quite reproducible and clearly demonstrate that the air shear force driven by the spinning pro-cess significantly enhances the surface planarization of the multilayer films. In addition, the surface roughness of about 3 Å and the bilayer thickness of 24 Åfor the spin-ning process compared with 8Åand 4Åfor the dipping process provides an indirect evidence that the internal structure of the spin SA films is highly ordered.
