In this study, GCeMS was used to identify the chemical
compositions of the bio-oil. The analysis was performed with
Angilent HP 6890 N gas chromatograph equipped with Agilent
HP 5975 mass-selective detector (mass spectrometer), using
a 30 m 0.25 mm DB-5ms capillary column (0.25 mm film
thickness). The injection port and detector were set at 300 C
and the GC oven was heated to 30 C for 2 min then to 290 Cat
a rate of 3 C/min. An elemental analysis was carried out using
TruSpec CHN, LECO Cooperation; Saint Joseph, Michigan USA.
FT-IR spectroscopy was used to analyze the functional group
compositions of the bio-oil product and the FT-IR instrument
of model Perkin Elmer FT-IR Spectrometer Paragon 1000 was
used to generate the IR-spectra of the sample. The analysis
carried out on KBr pellet.
