ConclusionThe results suggest that the application of the statistical mixturedesigns for simultaneous production of protease and -amylase byA. oryzae LBA 01 using different agroindustrial wastes under solidstate fermentation is an attractive process for improving the per-formance and to find the optimum formulations. Physicochemicalparameters, as the water absorption index and granulometric dis-tribution, showed as important factors on enzymes production. Theprocess proposed in this study can be extended to other enzymesgroups produced by microorganisms, such as lipases, pectinasesand cellulases, allowing the obtaining of multi-enzyme complexesin a simplified combination of agroindustrial wastes with differ-ent physicochemical characteristics for maximizing the enzymesproduction using mixture designs.
