and began training and mentoring program,
demonstrated how good test cases looked like,
gave them a checklist,
and made the group use it to write cases for the next module.
Every one of the writers began to produce cases that met the standards.
The first week of writing was slow going, but at the end of the two-month period they were all meeting a productivity goal.
By the next testing cycle the cases were shorter,
each with a clear purpose and precise pass or fail criteria.
