The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that influence students' confidence in speaking English of 30 third-year students from the Faculty of Education, Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. The research population is 30 third-year students from the Faculty of Education, Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, using a non-field-specific random sampling method. There are 2 tools used in the research: 1. Interview and 2. Questionnaire to measure confidence level in speaking English.The research results found that 1)Interview: Afraid of speaking incorrectly 30%, Insufficient vocabulary knowledge 23%, Afraid of pronouncing incorrectly 20%, Afraid of being teased by friends when speaking incorrectly 20%, and Rarely using English in everyday communication 7%, from the overall answers above, it can be seen that the main factor that causes most learners to lack confidence in speaking English is fear of speaking incorrectly English2) Questionnaire to measure confidence level in speaking English: Not at all confident 26%, Not very confident 27%, Slightly confident 20%, Somewhat confident 18%, and Very confident 9%. From the above results, it can be seen that the level of confidence in speaking English of most students is "Not very confident level".
