6.1.5 Expatriate Organization
In order to ensure the quality and level of the education at the CPF Culinary school, certain courses specifically related to the industry as well as some key functions within the organization, will be executed by expatriates. To achieve the mission of becoming the benchmark training academy in Thailand, it is also necessary to introduce the English language into all of the programmes. These expatriates will vary in background and origin as relevant and in time the goal will be to reduce the percentage of expatriate staff/faculty, to be replaced with trained and skilled Thai staff/faculty.
The key functions are:
o Dean
o Director of operations
In order to attract and retain these expatriates it will be very important to define the “package” for these individuals and their families.
o Lodging style and type:
It is an apparent opportunity to house the expats in the condos that are part of Whizdom 101 as it offers the following standards for expat packages:
Spacious studios, with option to convert to apartment for family
Child care on offer
Access to sports and recreation facilities within
In addition to the accommodation, the following elements are proposed as part of the contract for expatriate employment:
o Optimal medical insurance conditions
o SOS insurance for repatriation
o One month vacation in addition to the official days
o Education for children provided at an international standard (private education)
o Plane tickets for travel to their country of origin for the whole family, at least twice a year.
