Adjusting the workplace layout to accommodate pregnant women may contribute to minimize the load
during given tasks. This is an essential minimal condition for pregnant women to maintain their
work. In particular, organizations with many female employees should take care of the needs of pregnant
women when (re)designing the workplace layout. For these organizations pregnancy is not a temporary,
9-month, phenomenon but a pregnancy Further, a more definitive study in normal (non artificial)
work situations is recommended.
