This is not a significant impediment in the heating of the organic
fluid. Wells may be constructed with larger surface area or with
a horizontal section, which extracts heat at the highest depth,
where temperatures are highest. Also, the receiving area at the
well bottom will be designed and developed to allow better contact
and higher heat transfer of the organic fluid with the surrounding
hot rock. Such modifications in the well design will
allow the removal of heat from deep, hot rock formations and
the production of the supercritical organic fluid that becomes
superheated vapor at the return path or and drives the turbine at
the well head
