A great example, he believes, is social media. It was created to help friends connect but now it also allows people to share and collaborates on projects Wesch understands that the new media can provide opportunities for sharing and participation. However, he warns that online content can also e misleading. He believes it is important for everyone, especially students to understand the dangers of digital media and learn how to use it wisely In a traditional classroom, for example, the teacher is the main provider of information.
