Eating less will put the body into conservation mode. This means the body will store more energy in order to function properly.
It made sense for Madalin's nutritionist to tell her to eat more as we get the most amount of energy from carbs.
It was not easy golfing down more food but eventually Madalin found her body felt more satisfied.
"I remember how hard I struggled to actually eat the size of my meals. I would just put my lunch next to my desk and eat it over the course of 3 hours as I couldn't eat it in one sitting! Now my stomach can take way more and is much happier," she wrote.
Madalin's body began to transform as well.
She got more toned and lean. Her abs began to show and she got smaller in the waist as well as more muscular.
Whole carbs include whole grains, fruits, legumes, and vegetables.
"Don't waste your time eating salad when you could be eating sweet potatoes and banana pancakes," explained Madalin.
