The Union has introduced a volume of provisions regulating matters of safety at sea in a spherical way.
In line air safety has been regulated by means of the provisions as mentioned above. On the one hand
nearly the whole volume of regulations is an authorisation of the international rules which are applicable
to national laws because the member states have taken part into the preparation and have already
introduced the international rules into their national legislation. On the other hand as mentioned above
the Union has accelerated some times their introduction in the Union. Additionally, the implementation
of important provisions has been left to be applied according to the national regimes which means
