Aliquots of working standard solution, containing 10 g
ml
−1 tin, were transferred into 25ml volumetric flasks
to produce solutions with concentrations in the range of
0.01–0.8gml
−1. Then 0.25ml of 2.5%Triton X-100 solution,
1ml of 0.02M AOT solution, 0.5ml glycine buffer (pH 3.0)
and 0.25ml 0.1% PAN solution were added. After 20min the
solutions were diluted to the mark with water and their fluores-
cence intensities were measured at 360 nm using an excitation
wavelength of 300 nm. A reagent blank was also prepared and
its fluorescence intensity was measured in the same conditions.
