Throughout the century, many researches on Wireless
power transfer (WPT) have been conducted continuously
since the successful demonstration of Nikola Tesla [1].
Recently, attention on WPT has been increasing since Marin
Solja i has published progresses in the study of WPT using
magnetic resonances [2]. According to these trends, there have
been a lot of fundamental researches on inductive coupling.
Consequently, many mobile electronic devices that applied the
inductive coupling technology have been released in the
market and many companies have been applying for patents
[3]. As more studies and researches are introduced for further
development of WPT in the world, it is expected that the need
for a power line, the “last wire” left in the world, will be
eliminated and can lead the way to a “truly” wireless world.
