Since the beginning of 2011, 3x3 Basketball has cruised at quite a fast pace within the FIBA
family and also beyond, as FIBA 3x3 welcomes a new range of stakeholders, including
promoters, agencies and brands.
Such organizations are the main drivers of the 3x3 game as they carry a great expertise in
running events all around the globe, on which our institutions must leverage to ensure the
expected success of FIBA 3x3 and the fast expansion of its community of players and
organizers.
With FIBA embracing 3x3, National Federations obviously have a key role in the growth of the
format and in the quest to reach the Olympics.
This updated edition of the 3x3 Manual for National Federations aims at dissecting 3x3,
providing them with a detailed overview of the different pillars both on court and online.
In addition this manual provides early advice for National Federations to domesticate 3x3 at a
national level, benchmarking best practices and future plans drawn by affiliates. All documents
