In the social sciences, the deterministic claim of the empirical success factor research approach very often cannot contribute clear results (e.g. Eyholzer and Hunziker, 2000; Industrial Distribution, 2001; The Institute of Management and Administration, 2000; Wyld, 2004, Kauffmann and Mohtadi, 2004; Gebauer and Shaw, 2004). Instead of the verification of constant laws, the search for a few parameters (success factors) is therefore proposed (e.g. Boynton and Zmud 1984).
