3. Results and Discussion
3.1. Product fractional yields
The percentage yields of the wood sawdust and corn stover fMAP products obtained from each experiment are presented in Figs. 1 and 2, respectively. The maximum yield of the bio-oil was 65 wt.% for wood sawdust, and 64 wt.% for corn stover, both observed at the central points. These results are higher to those reported for MAP (Yin, 2012a). They are also comparable to results reported for fast pyrolysis processes, which generally are between 40 and 65 wt.% organic condensate, 10–20% char, 10–30% gas (Diebold and Bridgwater, 2008).
