The ECG signals were acquired by using a 3-lead custom developed ECG amplifier. The amplifier has for each channel a high gain (500), a high input impedance (>10MΩ) and common mode rejection (>90dB), a cut-off frequency around 35Hz and is AC coupled. For SpO2 and blood pressure measurements we used a commercially available Micro Power Oximeter Board (from Smiths Medical) [3], and UA-767PC blood pressure monitor (from A&D). These devices communicate with the eZ430-RF2500 through asynchronous serial channel. Respiratory rhythm measurement was performed by using a piezoelectric respiration transducer [4].
