An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a number of persuasive, personable and highly motivated Campaigners to join Greenpeace, the world's most iconic and determined campaigning organisation.
Greenpeace is an international non-profit campaigning organisation. We investigate and expose global environmental problems, confront those in positions of power and present alternative solutions.
Our Campaigners are at the frontline of Greenpeace’s essential work. These invaluable individuals develop strategies, plans and tactics, and undertake and implement project work. Campaign techniques span investigation and research, public, political and corporate work, the use of traditional and new media, science, the law and non-violent direct action.
In exchange for your commitment and expertise we can offer you a friendly, fast-paced, immensely rewarding working environment where creativity is encouraged, ideas are supported, every day is different and where there's ample opportunity for personal development.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will also:
Undertake the appropriate research, utilising information in the pursuit of campaign objectives.
Manage your workload effectively, adhering to individual campaign project deadlines.
Act as a representative of Greenpeace to external bodies / the media when required.
Work openly and co-operatively within the team, adapting as appropriate, sharing the administration work, developing colleagues, and taking part in self-evaluation on the completion of team campaign projects.
Supervise external consultants, volunteers and / or staff.
The successful candidates will have practical experience of campaigning, including strategic analysis, and an aptitude for collaborative working and resolving conflict. They will be enthusiastic about the aims and activities of Greenpeace and will possess the imagination, initiative, drive and strategic nous needed to create successful campaigns.
We are also seeking two individuals with specific experience in UK energy policy, or policy campaigning and digital campaigning and storytelling to join our team working towards a clean energy future.

The ability to view environmental issues in terms of campaign opportunities and strategic objectives.
A background overseeing the work of others, and managing projects.
A flair for forging / maintaining effective contacts and relationships, and for giving presentations.
Great organisation, prioritisation and planning skills.
