A number of outstanding EUSE research articles [Lieberman et al. 2006; Burnett
et al. 2003, 2004; Myers et al. 2008; Ko et al. 2009], especially work by [Ko et al.
2011], provide a very comprehensive picture of the state of the art in this new SE
field. Researchers have identified problems, such as end users being unconcerned with
specifications, design, testing and debugging; finding it hard to map requirements into
software that meets their needs; having little interest in encouraging and facilitating
reuse and especially in how to improve the quality of the product that they build; apart
from other problems deriving from the actual problem domain. All these problems exist
in the web field, too. They need to be solved if end users are to be efficient developers.
